2 hours of music interspersed with discussion of local community events and activities scheduled for the coming week – often including special guests for in-studio or phone interviews.

30 minutes discussing local sports and previewing the ‘Sportsvox’ program which is presented on Phoenix each Saturday morning.

60 minutes showcasing different local public schools (primary and secondary) each week with School leaders, both student and teacher reps in the studio. Each school is visited prior to their scheduled appearance and are briefed about Community Radio and preview their participation. On most occasions the segment is broadcast live at the school involved, thus increasing overall awareness of Community Radio. Many schools include a recording of the session on their school website.

Schools are also offered a second session during which time students are invited to read stories they have written with a radio listening audience in mind.
