Queen Elizabeth II has died at Balmoral aged 96.
At 3:30am Australian Eastern standard Time, Buckingham Palace released the following statement:
“The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.” – www.royal.uk
