The fundraiser for Phoenix FM held by Peter Sheahan’s Walkup on 26th May 2024 raised a total of $608.50 for Phoenix FM.
All door proceeds of $10.00 per head were donated to Phoenix FM and some of the attendees donated more money at the end of the day!
Peter Sheahan was an Honorary Life Member of Phoenix FM and he passed away in 2023. His family and supporters have kept his legacy alive by continuing to hold his “Walkup Shows” on the last Sunday of each month at the Golden Hills Motel, Bendigo. Each month a local charity or not for profit organisation is designated the recipient of the funds and we are very grateful that Phoenix FM was chosen. It does cost a lot of money to keep us on air and we wouldn’t be able to do this without the support of the community which we serve.
