The Phoenix FM Fundraiser conducted by Peter Sheahan’s Walkup last Sunday, June 22, at the Bendigo Club went very well. A total of $770 was raised on the day and donated to Phoenix FM. It was extremely gratifying to meet several of our listeners (who introduced themselves over the course of the afternoon) and also bring more awareness of Phoenix FM to other people who attended. Several of our members and Committee also attended and enjoyed an afternoon of music. Thanks must go to Evelyn Sheahan and her family and team for holding this event. Thanks to those artists who donated their time and talent and of course the audience who came along and supported Peter Sheahan’s Walkup and Phoenix FM.
Peter Sheahan’s Walkup is held on the fourth Sunday of each month from1-5pm at the Bendigo Club with a different charity/community organisation being the beneficiary each month. Please support their shows as this is a wonderful initiative assisting the community we love!
